Kira is back !
In scoping out the fresh looks for spring and fall 2011, I came across the best news of all. Kira Plastinina, the Russian heiress, whose previous designs were sent back to Russia due to the economic recession in the U.S, is back. She showed her newly done and more mature designs at Lincoln Center's fall fashion week 2011. With a new brand named "LUBLU" (meaning "I love" in Russian,) she shows her sophistication as a young adult, and maturity in the fashion industry. Her designs are solely based off of inspiration from the 70's, 80's AND 90's. This time around, she's replacing those pink bubble skirts with "sophisticated silhouettes." Go Kira !
